Profile:
Nephew of the legendary Yoshinaka Toshusai, Tanyu held the lofty expectations of both himself and from those around him on his shoulders. Tanyu shocked the wrestling world by aligning with small independent AREA 64, eschewing the scouts of PGHW and BHOWTG in doing so. That was seven years ago, and now very few question his decision.

From day one, Tanyu Toshusai was arguably the greatest wrestler in AREA 64 and was positioned as one of the top stars almost immediately. Despite this inarguable talent, it still took Tanyu almost two years to capture the Winter Solstice Cup, and two years to capture the Glory Crown.

As leader of the AREA 64 Seikigun, it fell to Tanyu to defend AREA against those who positioned against the promotion. Tanyu fended off the assault of Warrior Engine's KAZ in 2012. And years later would end the assault of Haru Kurofuji who claimed the "superiority" of other promotions. Tanyu proved the legendary Super Junior wrong with a decisive victory to liberate the Glory Crown.

Now Tanyu faces not only outside forces, but even his old mentor Goemon Komiya has turned his back on Tanyu. The young ace faces forward to meet all of these challenges with his awe inspiring strength.
